Trivia

  • Adaman was the first character who debuted in Pokémon Legends: Arceus to become playable in Pokémon Masters EX.
  • Adaman was the first character to become able to be invited to the Trainer Lodge on the same day as their debut in Pokémon Masters EX.
    • This makes Adaman the character with the shortest gap between their debut and obtaining an alternate sync pair, tied with Volo.
  • Adaman was the first sync pair exclusively available in a Master Fair scout who can be invited to the Trainer Lodge.
  • Upon his release, Adaman had no dialogue when interacting with him in the Trainer Lodge or speaking to him in the Pokémon Center when the game language was set to English or French. This was fixed on June 2, 2023, and all players received 300 non-paid Gems as compensation.
  • All versions of Adaman use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon) and victory with them. Those Trainers include Irida, Akari, and Rei.
  • The types of the sync pairs Adaman forms with his Pokémon are identical to Steven's weaknesses in the Hoenn Challenge: Water, Grass, and Ground.
  • The moves and passive skills of Adaman (Special Costume) & Ursaluna are likely a reference to the combination of Ursaluna's Ability Guts and the held item Flame Orb, which is a popular set for Ursaluna in the core series games.
  • In The Power of Dance costume event, it is revealed that Adaman caught his Ursaluna in a space-time distortion.

Origin

Adaman's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Leafeon is Adaman's signature Pokémon in the core series games. Leafeon's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.

Vaporeon is another Pokémon that Adaman uses in the core series games. Vaporeon's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.

Adaman is not seen owning an Ursaluna outside this game, but it was introduced in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, like Adaman was. Moreover, Mai's concept art describes her, Adaman, his Leafeon, an Ursaring, and Mai's Munchlax as "siblings", consistent with Mai considering Adaman and her Mucnhlax siblings despite being unrelated, and an Ursaring additionally appears in end credits art for the Two Hues episode of Pokémon: Hisuian Snow. Ursaluna's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
