Description This Trainer from Unova is Alder's grandson. His natural skill as a Trainer has led him to the very top at a battle facility where the strongest Trainers gather.

Benga (Japanese: バンジロウ Banjirō) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. He forms a sync pair with Volcarona, which is capable of Dynamaxing. This pair can be obtained through a Poké Fair sync pair scout beginning on May 5, 2025. This pair can be raised to 6★ EX since it first released.

  • All versions of Benga use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon) and victory with them. Those Trainers include Alder.

Origin

Benga's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. Volcarona is Benga's signature Pokémon in the core series games. Volcarona's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
