Trivia

- This is the first season:
- in the English dub to include "Season" in its name, in contrast to the previous seasons.
- where an opening theme for the English dub contains a majority of the lyrics in another language, as Will -Korean ver.-, the opening theme for the Asian release of the English dub, has lyrics in Korean.
- where the English dub uses different ending themes for different releases of the same episodes depending on the country, with an instrumental version of My Favorite Pokémon for the international release and Make You Shine (English Ver.) for the Asian release.
- In Asian territories where The Pokémon Company holds distribution rights, this season is also numbered as season 27 of the Pokémon animated series as a whole.[2] However the logo used in the listings and during the episodes remains unchanged.
- It is listed as "Season 27" also on 9Now in Australia, where it uses a modified logo with the "Season 2" text removed[3], despite the previous season having been listed as "Season 1"[4] and the logo sequence in the episodes itself being unchanged. On other streaming services in Australia, such as Stan, the logo remains unmodified.[5]
