Tera Shift (Japanese: テラスチェンジ Tera Change) is an Ability introduced during Generation IX, in The Indigo Disk. It is one of the signature Abilities of Terapagos.
Effect
In battle
When Terapagos enters the battle, it turns into its Terastal Form until the end of the battle.
Tera Shift cannot be copied by Trace, Power of Alchemy, or Receiver. Tera Shift cannot be replaced by Lingering Aroma, or suppressed by Neutralizing Gas.
Outside of battle
In Auto Battles, Terapagos will first change into its Terastal Form before attacking the wild Pokémon.
