11w50a (mislabeled as 11w49a in-game) is the fourth snapshot for Java Edition 1.1, released on December 15, 2011,[1] which adds new splashes and makes more music discs obtainable in Survival, more specifically dropped by creepers. This is the final snapshot released in 2011.

- Added 15 new splash texts.
- "日本ハロー!"
- This and the next five splashes have been added because the previous snapshot added support for multiple languages. They all mean "Hello" plus the name of the country that uses that language.
