Java Edition Beta 1.4/Development

A couple of development versions of Beta 1.4 were developed between March 15 and March 31, 2011 to test the addition of wolves.

Wolf Test (March 15, 2011)

This section documents an unreleased version.
 
While there is proof of this version's existence, it was never released to the public.

Additions

Wolves

  • Have a texture completely different from release.
  • Its appearance resembles a wolf with dark, grey skin.

Sit Test (March 16, 2011)

This section documents an unreleased version.
 
While there is proof of this version's existence, it was never released to the public.

Changes

Wolves

  • Now have a different texture, resembling a wolf with white skin and grey patches.

Tame Test (March 18, 2011)

This section documents an unreleased version.
 
While there is proof of this version's existence, it was never released to the public.

Changes

  • Changed texture once again, now being close to the release.
