Iono Zone Presents (Japanese: ドンナモンジャＴＶ企画 Donnamonja TV Project), subtitled Costume Battle Show (Japanese: コーデバトルショー Coordination Battle Show), was a limited-time event in Pokémon Masters EX. It was focused on sync pairs in fall outfits.

During this event, players could take on challenging battles against sync pairs featured in fall seasonal events. Each battle awarded the player 300 Gems upon completion for the first time.

All sync pairs with certain theme skills received a ×5.0 bonus to their Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk and Sp. Def stats when used during certain battles in this event:

  • Sync pairs with the Seasonal Outfit theme skill received it during all battles.
  • Sync pairs with the Galar or Paldea theme skill received it during "Challenge the Fancy Outfits: Part 1".
  • Sync pairs with the Hoenn or Sinnoh theme skill received it during "Challenge the Fancy Outfits: Part 2".
  • Sync pairs with the Unova theme skill received it during "Challenge the Fancy Outfits: Part 3" and "Challenge the Fancy Outfits: Part 5".
  • Sync pairs with the Kalos theme skill received it during "Challenge the Fancy Outfits: Part 3".
  • Sync pairs with the Kanto or Johto theme skill received it during "Challenge the Fancy Outfits: Part 4".
  • Sync pairs with the Alola theme skill received it during "Challenge the Fancy Outfits: Part 5".

Plot

Iono is filming in Centra City to celebrate Pasio's Midnight Parade. She comments that everyone is wearing snazzy outfits for the occasion and explains how the Midnight Parade works. Then, she announces her next stream, called "No Escape! Battle and Plunder! Fight or Fright in Kooky-Chic Costumes!", in which she and other costumed sync pairs will battle it out and see who walks away with the most sweets. She then introduces the other participants: Roxanne, Morty, Hilbert, Allister, Caitlin, Acerola, Iris, Shauntal, and Phoebe. She asks them to show her viewers an electrifying battle, and she asks her viewers to cheer them on.
