The first Arceus Arc Celebration was a special battle event in Pokémon Masters EX celebrating the addition of the first chapter of the Arceus Arc to the main story. It was focused on the sync pairs Arc Suit Cynthia & Garchomp, Arc Suit Steven & Metagross, and Arc Suit Lance & Dragonite.

The "Cynthia Arc Suit Fair Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Arc Suit Cynthia & Garchomp from the beginning of the event to October 7, 2024. The "Steven Arc Suit Fair Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Arc Suit Steven & Metagross from August 30 to October 7, 2024. The "Lance Arc Suit Fair Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Arc Suit Lance & Dragonite from September 1 to October 7, 2024.

This event featured event points, a currency that players could earn by completing battles. Players received rewards based on the number of points accumulated, including 5★ Scout Tickets, a Sprint Move Candy Coin, a 5★ Power-Up, and medals. All battles could be challenged an unlimited number of times except Daily Extreme Battle 1, which could only be challenged once per day.

The player could battle using Arc Suit Cynthia & Garchomp, Arc Suit Steven & Metagross, or Arc Suit Lance & Dragonite to obtain +0.6× bonus points; and any unlisted Ground-, Dragon-, or Steel-type sync pairs to obtain +0.2× bonus points.

This event featured the Battle Challenge, where players were challenged to defeat a team of strong opponents. Players could complete event missions by clearing these areas with one or fewer sync pairs fainting and sync pairs with specific theme skills on the team.

Additionally, the music and artwork on the title screen were different than usual. The title screen artwork depicted Arc Suit Steven & Metagross, Arc Suit Lance & Dragonite, Arc Suit Cynthia & Garchomp, and Arceus, and the background music was Glorious Battle! (Cynthia) (Pokémon Masters EX Version). In addition, a special voice-over line of Steven, Lance, or Cynthia saying "Pokémon Masters EX" would play as soon as the game's logo appeared on the title screen, chosen at random each time the title screen was loaded.
