A tree is a common plant within both the Overworld and Earth, serving as a source of lumber.

A tree consists of a log base with leaves and branches coming off of it. There are several varieties of tree seen throughout the movie, with some even having bright pink leaves. Overworld trees are built of blocks and their trunk, branches, and leaves grow in voxelated formations.

Trees have differing properties based on their home. Earth trees are assumed to be destructible, considering their wood is used for objects, but characters do not interact with them in the film. Overworld trees are weaker than Earth trees, as Henry broke through one when accidentally running into it. Their blocks can be destroyed with a single strong force or a few punches and placed elsewhere, while the rest of the tree remains intact and upright. It is also assumed their branches can be broken off and used to craft items such as swords.
