A battleaxe is a type of weapon utilized by piglins.

Appearance

Being a variation of an axe, a battleaxe possesses a similar concept and shape, being a curved blade on a long, wooden handle. Unlike typical axes, battleaxes are made for battle, meaning they possess a more curved head on both sides of the pole.

Functionality

In the Add-on, battleaxes can be activated with the activate button. When activated, all mobs in front of the player, will be damaged and flung into the air, causing fall damage to go with the base damage.

Trivia

• Axes in Java Edition originally had a similar design, with two heads. This was changed to emphasize their primary function for chopping wood, as they did not have benefits over swords when used as a weapon at the time.
  • Another two headed axe appeared in Minecraft Dungeons, but it was referred to as the double axe.
• The battleaxe sword combination made by Henry resembles a halberd.
