Block City Battle Buddies is a fictional indie video game appearing in the epilogue of A Minecraft Movie. It is a spiritual successor to Hunk City Rampage based on the Gang's adventures in the Overworld.
Appearance
The style of the game is reminiscent of Hunk City Rampage and 90s video games in general. Physically, it is a 90s-style arcade cabinet with hand-painted artwork, courtesy of Natalie. The screen is low-resolution, while the graphics are 16-bit.
Gameplay
The gameplay is similar to Hunk City Rampage. Up to two players can join each other. Garrett, Henry, Natalie, and Dawn are the playable characters. Garret's weapon is the buck-chuckets/nun-chucks. The enemies are the piglins, coming in two varieties: smaller and general-sized. The buck-chuckets appear to be very useful against the latter. The platform is green grass, while the background is rolling hills and blue sky.
