Cloudy Climb is a Minecraft Dungeons seasonal adventure that was announced at Minecraft Live 2021 and was released on December 14th 2021. Showcased at Minecraft Live 2021, it is the first seasonal adventure in the game.

Gameplay

Cloudy Climb takes place in the Tower containing thirty floors. On one of the floors, variants of royal guards and wraiths, the tower guards and tower wraiths, can spawn on such floor and are stronger than their normal counterparts.

September 9, 2021							A video was shown in a twitter post using Illageralt to tease the word “Tower.”
September 16, 2021							Another video was shown in a twitter post using Illageralt to tease the phrase “New Adventures.”
September 23, 2021							A third video was shown in a twitter post using Illageralt to tease the phrase “Can you reach the top?”
October 2, 2021							A fourth video was shown in a twitter post using Illageralt to tease the phrase “Cloudy Season.”

October 16, 2021							The Tower is revealed and shown in-game in Minecraft Live as the hero goes through some of the easier then harder floors. It also reveals that certain rewards are unlocked when some floors are completed such as pets, flairs, etc. It also reveals that The Tower restarts adventures every two weeks.

November 18, 2021							Cloudy Climb was announced to be releasing on December 14th, in a Twitter post stating that, “The clouds are gathering, the tower is looming, the seasons are changing!”
November 19, 2021							A Twitter video was released showcasing time-limited challenges included with the cloudy climb.
December 3, 2021							Marc Watson revealed in an article called the Tower Scour that “These items and upgrades are temporary, and just for the Tower – but the reward that you can earn through a successful run is permanent and yours to keep!”
