A slime is a hostile mob that can be found within various missions of Minecraft Dungeons.

Ancient

• Oozing Menace

Behavior

Slimes come in three sizes. They bounce towards heroes once seen and try to ram them to damage them. Upon death, they will split into a group of smaller slimes, which have less health and deal less damage. When a large slime is killed by an explosion, it will immediately split into a large group of small slimes. Slimes affected by the Love Medallion will not split into smaller slimes.

When an enchanted slime splits, the smaller slimes share the same enchantments as the original slime.

The Oozing Menace is an ancient small slime encountered during ancient hunts with the minimum offering of the following runes:

The ancient resides within Oozing Menace Ancient Dungeon and possesses, at minimum, the following enchantments:

• Gravity
• Huge
• Poison Cloud

12 enchanted large slimes act as the ancient's minions, possessing the following enchantments:

• Shockwave

Upon defeating the Oozing Menace, a gilded variant of the following items will drop as a reward:

• Battlestaff

  • Love Spell Bow

• If a slime gets stunned, its eye textures wobble.
• The ambush with the Corrupted Cauldron ends even if the slimes it spawned were not defeated, as they are subsequently despawned.
