The baby ghast is a cosmetic pet that can be found within the Flames of the Nether DLC of Minecraft Dungeons.

Behavior

The baby ghast is purely cosmetic and does not attack any mobs. It becomes invisible when the hero is away and visible when they are close.

February 7, 2021							The baby ghast first appears within a Twitter video introducing the Nether Room.
February 12, 2021							The baby ghast is briefly mentioned within the Minecraft Dungeons Diaries for the flames of the nether DLC.

Lore

• In a twitter video, the baby ghast follows the hero Skelly into an undiscovered cave with an inviting purple glow beneath the Camp.^[1]
• In a twitter video depicting coral rise, the baby ghast explores the sea while floating in a bubble.^[2]
• Sometime after the events of the game, the baby ghast shoots its first fireball accidentally at the village merchant in the Camp.^[3]
• In a Twitter post, the baby ghast was given the title of "Dungeons' Most Popular Pet" and appeared in a video version of The Illager's New Robes.^[4]
