Dungeons:Ancient

An ancient is an enchanted boss-like variant of a normal mob that drops special gilded items on death. Each ancient spawns in a unique ancient dungeon alongside a group of enchanted minions. Ancient dungeons are found within sub-missions in Ancient Hunt, and are accessed through hunt doors.^[1]

The ancients that appear during ancient hunt are selected at the start of a hunt by sacrificing a set of ancient offerings. Each ancient has a specific rune combination that are required for their ancient dungeon to appear in Ancient Hunt. Only one melee weapon, one ranged weapon, one armor, and/or one artifact may be offered at a time. Multiple ancients can be called by a if the runes combinations to summon them are fufilled. An ancient can also be called multiple times. The chance of hunt doors leading to ancient dungeons instead of gold doors is increased with the number of enchantment points invested.
