Ball (baseball)

In baseball, a ball was a pitch that landed outside of the strike zone but was not swung on.

During the 2375 Niners vs Logicians game, Worf got up to three balls before striking out. Later, one of the Logicians got up to ball one. (DS9: "Take Me Out to the Holosuite")
