Aura and pulse move

A pulse move (Japanese: 波動の技 pulse move), known collectively as aura and pulse moves from Generation VI to VIII, is any move that is based on aura or pulses. Aura and pulse moves have some unique properties and effects. The mechanic was introduced in Generation VI.
Aura and pulse moves like Water Pulse have existed since Generation III, but in Pokémon X and Y, aura and pulse became a mechanic.
In the games
In the core series games, aura and pulse moves have the following effects:
- Aura and pulse moves used by a Pokémon with Mega Launcher are boosted by 50%, while Heal Pulse heals 75% of the target's maximum HP.
While not an inherent property of aura and pulse moves, all these moves include the word はどう hadō in Japanese. Most can be used to target non-adjacent opponents in Triple Battles (the only one that cannot in a game that includes Triple Battles, Origin Pulse, is also unable to be learned by a Pokémon with Mega Launcher anyway).
In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, they bypass accuracy checks to always hit.
