Zapapico has an unused interior for a detailed house with a built in tunnel in the files of the game, known as a_t07_i01.[1]
Notably, it is the only interior in the game that is unrelated to an Academy or Area Zero, a Gym, Every Wich Way, Salon Renacer, or a building that is lived in by a major character (such as Nemona's or the player's houses).
Origin
Zapapico being surrounded and built upon large plateaus has its inspiration in the Spanish city of Cuenca. Cuenca was also originally built as a important defensive city during the medieval period, and the player obtains the armour (Auspicious Armor and Malicious Armor) necessary to evolve Charcadet in this town. Setenil de las Bodegas, a small Spanish town built near the mountains and famous for its historical and architectural ensemble, is also likely an influence. Its terraced houses are built into rocky cliffs and feature stone façades.
