A World Runner-up is a special Trainer class at the Pokémon World Tournament. This class only appears in the downloadable World Championships Tournaments. The Trainers of this class are based on the runner-ups of the three divisions of the 2012 World Championships.

In Japanese and Korean, this is actually three separate Trainer classes, one for each division.
