Phantasmal Flames is the second main expansion of cards for the Mega Evolution Series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. It continues to introduce Mega Evolution Pokémon ex cards into the game, with Mega Charizard X ex as the central Pokémon. Mega Gengar ex and other Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, as well as regular Pokémon ex, are also included. Overall, the set focuses on Fire-type and Darkness-type Pokémon.[1]
Phantasmal Flames includes cards released in the Japanese Inferno X expansion, as well as the MEGA Starter Set Mega Gengar ex. Phantasmal Flames will feature more than 120 cards, including six Mega Evolution Pokémon ex; four Pokémon ex; 13 illustration rare Pokémon; 17 ultra rare Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, Trainer and Energy cards; and five special illustration rare Mega Evolution Pokémon ex and Supporter cards.[1]
Phantasmal Flames will release worldwide on November 14, 2025.[1]
