Information
Mega Evolution is the first main expansion of cards for the Mega Evolution Series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. It reintroduces Mega Evolution into the game as Mega Evolution Pokémon ex cards, each of which is worth 3 Prize cards on defeat and features the typical stage and Evolution of its depicted Pokémon. This variant of Pokémon ex uses a black-and-yellow symbol.
Mega Evolution will feature more than 180 cards in total, including 10 Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, more than 15 Trainer cards, 22 illustration rare Pokémon cards, 22 ultra rare Mega Evolution Pokémon ex and Trainer cards, and 10 special illustration rare Mega Evolution Pokémon ex and Supporter cards.[3][4]
Mega Evolution will release globally on September 26, 2025, although the release in the Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions has been delayed to October 10, 2025 due to product delivery problems.[5]
