As one of the launch products for the Pokémon Card Game MEGA Series, the Premium Trainer Box MEGA offers a base for players to begin their game with an assortment of popular Pokémon, Trainer, and Energy cards from the Scarlet & Violet Series and MEGA Series. Players could also integrate these with cards obtained from the 20 booster packs in each box, with 10 packs each from the Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia expansions included.
Each box contains a fixed assortment of 172 cards comprising 13 Pokémon cards, 59 Trainer cards, 4 Special Energy cards, and 96 Basic Energy cards; all cards feature a product-specific symbol and collection number, except for the Basic Energy cards. Each box also contains 34 acrylic damage counters (20 yellow 10-damage counters, 8 orange 50-damage counters, and 6 red 100-damage counters) and a case to store these in, as well as a pair of premium Special Condition status markers and a coin.[1][3]
