It's All Good (Japanese: マイペースで進もう Go With Your Own Pace) was a solo event in Pokémon Masters EX. It was focused on sync pairs with the
Free Spirit theme skill.
The "Triple Feature Spotlight Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Grimsley (Kimono) & Bisharp, Sygna Suit Elesa & Rotom, and Phoebe & Dusclops for the duration of the event.
During this event, players could earn Event Vouchers G from battles that could be redeemed in the shop. Obtaining 3,000 vouchers would unlock the story area Being Different. All battles could be challenged an unlimited number of times except Daily Extreme Battle 1, which could only be challenged once per day. Extra vouchers were automatically exchanged with coins once the event was finished.
The player could battle using Grimsley (Kimono) & Bisharp, Sygna Suit Elesa & Rotom, or Phoebe & Dusclops/Dusknoir to obtain +0.6× bonus vouchers; Lana & Araquanid to obtain +0.4× bonus vouchers; and any unlisted sync pairs with the
Free Spirit theme skill to obtain +0.2× bonus vouchers.
All sync pairs with the
Free Spirit theme skill received a bonus to their Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, and Sp. Def stats when used for this event, with the amount of the bonus varying between areas.
First run
The event first ran from June 23 to July 7, 2022. In this run, the event vouchers earned were not colored to match a particular type.
Second run
The event reran from January 27 to February 10, 2024. In this run, the event vouchers earned were Steel-themed. Everything else was the same as the previous run.
Plot
An Ace Trainer, a Lass, and a Camper are gathered in the forest, looking down. Grimsley approaches them, wondering what they are doing here and noticing that they look upset about something. He offers to make a bet with them: he will take the three of them to a certain location, and if that takes care of what is bothering them, he wins. If it does not, then they win. The three Trainers are skeptical, but they agree to follow Grimsley.
Grimsley takes them to a beach where several Trainers are gathered, including Hau, Phoebe, Elesa, Winona, Lana, Valerie, and Mina. Hau and Phoebe greet them enthusiastically. Suddenly, Leon walks out of the ocean, apologizing for getting lost on the way and making them wait. Then, Hau challenges the three new Trainers to a battle. All this behavior bewilders the three new Trainers, who do not understand what is going on.
As the sun sets, the Ace Trainer, Lass, and Camper despair that they will never be strong Trainers like all of the others. Hau comments on their pessimism, and he tells them they would have a lot more fun if they tried to be someone only they can be instead of trying to be like someone else. Elesa says that one can get hurt learning the differences between oneself and others, but being different is okay. Phoebe says that her ability to see ghosts sometimes makes people afraid of her, but she is glad for it because it allows her to get along well with ghost Pokémon. Leon says that his little brother used to want to be just like him, but the two of them are different people, so he had to find his own path before he was able to shine. Lana, Mina, and Winona offer similar words of encouragement, and Valerie suggests that they try to be more carefree. This cheers up the Trainers, meaning Grimsley won the bet. Hau and the others wave goodbye to the three Trainers. As they leave, Grimsley watches from behind a tree, smiles smugly, and walks away.

| Name | Text |
|---|---|
| Ace Trainer | ... ... ... |
| ??? | And why would you come to a lonely odd place like this? |
| Grimsley | It looks like something's bothering you. |
| Camper | Yeah, I guess... |
| Grimsley | I see. In that case, let's make a little bet. |
| Ace Trainer | Excuse me? |
| Grimsley | Here's how it'll work: I'll take the three of you to a certain location. If that takes care of what's bothering you, then I win the bet. And if it doesn't, then you win. No pressure or anything. It's up to you whether you take the bet or not. So whaddya say? |
| Lass | How could you even make that bet without knowing what's bothering us? |
| Grimsley | Well that'd be too easy, wouldn't it? So, will you take the bet? |
| Ace Trainer | ... ... ... |
in the background, Winona and Lana are looking at Winona's Pelipper, while Valerie and Mina are chatting) | |
| Hau | Hey, look! Some new Trainers have come! |
| Phoebe | Haha! It's just like Grimsley said! |
| Ace Trainer | Wh-what is this?! |
| ??? | Sorry to keep you waiting, everyone! I got lost on my way here! |
| Leon | Now, it's Champion time! |
| Elesa | Leon...did you just come out of the ocean? |
| Lass | H-huh? |
| Hau | All right! Now it's time for a battle! Here we go! |
| Camper | Wh-what is happening?! |
- Being Different
| Name | Text |
|---|---|
| Camper | We're hopeless. We never stood a chance... |
| Ace Trainer | Aaaahhh! I knew it. There's no way we can ever be strong Trainers like all of you. |
| Hau | Wow. You're just a ray of sunshine, eh? |
| Lass | Huh? |
| Hau | Instead of trying to be like someone else, you should try to be someone only YOU can be. I think you'd have a lot more fun if you did! |
| Elesa | That's right. It's important to learn the differences between yourself and others... and sometimes this means you may get hurt... But being different is OK! |
| Phoebe | I can see things that other people can't see. I'm different...and sometimes that means people are afraid of me. But thanks to who I am, I get along great with ghost Pokémon. I'm really glad that I'm different! |
| Leon | My little bro always used to say, "I want to be just like you, Lee!" But the two of us are really different people. After lots of frustration, he finally found his own path. That's why he's doing so brilliantly now. There's nothing at all wrong with being different! |
| Lana | I have two younger twin sisters. Even though they like the same Pokémon, there are still some differences. |
| Mina | But knowing what makes you or others different can be a lot of fun! |
| Winona | Even when people seem to be alike, everyone's always got something unique about them. Just like no two clouds in the sky are exactly the same. |
| Valerie | Yes, the sky... I hope the sun is shining tomorrow... That would be reason enough to smile. If trying to live elegantly is too exhausting, why not try being more carefree? |
| Ace Trainer | Heheh... |
| Ace Trainer | It looks like Grimsley won the bet. |
| Camper | Thanks so much, everyone. |
| Lass | I'm gonna keep trying—together with my Pokémon! |
| Hau | See ya 'round! Just keep meeting lots of different people and Pokémon, and I know you'll have a blast! |
the three Trainers leave, while Grimsley watches them smugly from behind a tree) | |
Trivia
- Hau's comment about the Trainers in Being Different is the same comment he makes about Gladion at the Battle Royal Dome on the player's first visit in Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon.
- On Pokémon Masters Day in June 2022, which was two days after this event's first run began, all the sync pairs that received upgrades had the
Free Spirit theme skill: Winona, Valerie, and Mina received expanded sync grids, and Hau received his EX style.
