Training with Legends (Japanese: 特訓！レジェンドチーム Special Training! Legend Team) was a solo event in Pokémon Masters EX. It was focused on the sync pairs Sygna Suit Blue & Blastoise, Sygna Suit Leaf & Venusaur, and Sygna Suit Red & Charizard.

The "Sygna Suit Red Poké Fair Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Sygna Suit Red & Charizard from the beginning of the event to September 28, 2020; the "Sygna Suit Leaf Poké Fair Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Sygna Suit Leaf & Venusaur from the beginning of the event to September 28, 2020; and the "Sygna Suit Blue Poké Fair Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Sygna Suit Blue & Blastoise from the beginning of the event to October 30, 2020*.

Battles rewarded players with Event Vouchers C, which could be redeemed in the shop. Extra vouchers were automatically exchanged with coins once the event was finished.

This event featured the Full-Force Battle, where players were challenged to defeat a large group of strong opponents. Similar to the Legendary Arena, players could use multiple teams with a limited number of total sync pairs, with the opponents' health carrying over between rounds and with previously used pairs unable to be used again until the challenge is reset. Medals could be earned by completing specific missions.

Plot

At the Pokémon Center, Red, Blue, and Leaf greet the player. Blue notes that the player seems a lot more determined than they were when they first met. He tells them that he expects the next generation of Trainers on Pasio to grow to become great opponents. Leaf invites the player to join them as they train with other powerful sync pairs on Pasio. Red and Blue are both fond of her idea, with Blue telling the player that if they worked together, they would be an unstoppable team.
