Plot

At the end of her livestream, Nidothing introduces a special guest on her channel: Iono. The two streamers reveal the details of their upcoming collaboration event that is being held in Levincia, making Liko excited at the opportunity to get a handshake or a hug from Nidothing. On the outside deck, Dot explains how this event would help them to raise funds to travel around, and Liko invites Uruto to join them. He turns it down, not being interested in a costumed streamer and gets startled when Liko fiercely defends Nidothing. At the same time, on the coast of Levincia, Zirc, Onia, and their Pokémon are laying around as they are stuck without any sort of clue to find Amethio. Onia declares they should try searching again tomorrow, but Zirc is reluctant due to wanting to attend Nidothing's event that is being held the same day.

The following day, Roy and Dot observe the line of people waiting to get a ticket needed to enter the event, including Liko. Even though Dot offers to let Liko in without a ticket, the latter objects on the grounds of not being qualified to be a true Nidothing fan if she doesn't get a ticket with her own hands. After successfully getting a ticket, the trio runs into Grusha, who explains he saw the event on Iono's channel, surprising them by revealing how much of a fan he is, as his single-digit ticket number means he must have queued really early, he is. Meanwhile, Zirc is pleased to have obtained his own ticket, which matches Rhydon's Pokédex number, and being excited to meet Nidothing. Due to a strong gust of wind, the ticket flies out of his hand and into the drain. When his Rhydon opens the drain, the ticket is gone, leaving Zirc devastated. On the way to a rehearsal with ice cream in hand, Liko, Roy, and Dot encounter Onia and a depressed Zirc, who doesn't react at all to the Rising Volt Tacklers' presence. When she finds out how he lost his ticket and remembering how he and Onia helped them last time, Dot offers her ticket to Zirc. However, he rejects it, misunderstanding Dot as a bigger Nidothing fan (due to how she has the same Pokémon as in Nidothing's streams), and winds up repeating what Liko said when she was queuing up earlier, causing Liko to volunteer to help Zirc find his ticket, to her friends' surprise.

At the place where Zirc lost his ticket, Dot asks Iono for help in finding out where the drain leads to as Liko and Zirc reveal their online usernames to each other. With Iono's help, the group goes to the area below the central plaza. Liko suggests having Onia's Golduck swim around, but she reveals Golduck's sensitive skin prevents it from swimming in the seas. Despite that, everyone searches around the area, with some searching on land, and the rest on the boat Zirc and Onia travels around in. By evening, the group is unsuccessful in their efforts and Dot has to leave them to get to the event. Zirc decides to give up the chance to meet Nidothing, but Liko rebukes him, making him motivated to search for the ticket again. Roy's Crocalor is also eager to help, and in a show of eagerness, runs into a rock that sprouted from the sand out of nowhere. Three heads exit from the rock, with one of them having Zirc's ticket on its head. Rhydon rushes to the Pokémon against Zirc's orders and ends up getting attacked by a supereffective Triple Dive. With Roy's Rotom Phone, they learn the Pokémon is a Wugtrio, and Liko sends Meowscarada to stop the Garden Eel Pokémon from moving. However, it uses Dig to constantly avoid the Magician Pokémon, as well as the Duck Pokémon when Onia tries to help. When Rhydon rushes in again, it gets hit by another Triple Dive. Unseen by Wugtrio, Crocalor jumps on it and manages to grab it, only for the wild Wugtrio to retaliate with the same move after escaping his grasp. Captain Pikachu delivers a Thunder Punch that manages to paralyze it long enough for Rhydon to take back the ticket with its horn. Zirc thanks everyone gratefully for their help, and they rush to the central plaza.

Liko, Roy, and Zirc manage to arrive just as the event starts. Throughout the event, various segments are carried out, including a dance session with Quaxwell that ends with Rhydon chasing Nidothing affectionately, mistaking her for an actual Nidorina. Afterwards is the meet-and-greet segment, where Liko and Zirc happily receive a handshake from Nidothing while Grusha greets Iono. Onia, who was a fan of Grusha's since his professional snowboarding days, asks to shake his hand and pets his Cetoddle. Once the event is over, Liko and Roy got to meet up with Dot, not noticing Zirc is following them since he wanted to thank them again for helping earlier. As a result, he and Rhydon find out Dot is Nidothing, sending them into a great shock. Onia finds out what happened when she joins them a moment later and, together with Roy, watches Nidothing cheer Zirc and Rhydon up, along with Liko who is happy to see Nidothing again. Later on, Zirc and Onia decide to talk to Liko and explain the current situation with Amethio. Liko is stunned when they ask her to join them in their search for their missing leader.
