Hedrikspool Province
Labeled on a map of Bajor
The Hedrikspool Province was an equatorial province on the planet Bajor.
In 2370, a new nature preserve was opened in the province. Vedek Bareil jokingly suggested to Kira they could talk about this instead of his speech about the Eighth Prophecy in the station's shrine. (DS9: "Shadowplay")
In 2401, Admiral Jean-Luc Picard kept a map of Bajor's major archaeological sites in the study at Château Picard that identified Hedrikspool Province, including the nature preserve, Sirah, and nearby archaeological sites in the region. (PIC: "The Star Gazer")

Background information
Writer Robert Hewitt Wolfe named this province after his freshman dormitory at UCLA, Hedrick Hall. [1]
Hedrickspool Province was labeled along the equator on a Star Trek: Deep Space Nine production map of Bajor that Wolfe maintained, as well as a map of Bajor derived from it by Geoffrey Mandel for Star Trek: Star Charts. (p. 42) [2](X) Mandel brought the label forward for a map of archaeological sites created for Star Trek: Picard. [3]
