The Yolja River was a river on Bajor, located in Kendra Province.

In 2375, Benjamin Sisko bought twelve hecapates of land south of the Yolja River. (DS9: "Penumbra")

In 2401, Admiral Jean-Luc Picard kept a map of Bajor's major archaeological sites in the study at Château Picard that identified the Yolja River near the Kendra Valley. (PIC: "The Star Gazer")

Background information

The Yolja River was labeled on a Star Trek: Deep Space Nine production map of Bajor that writer Robert Hewitt Wolfe maintained, as well as a map of archaeological sites created for Star Trek: Picard. [1](X) [2]

In the Deep Space Nine relaunch series novella Olympus Descending, Captain Kira takes possession of a new runabout and chooses to name it Yolja after this river.
