Talonflame (Japanese: ファイアロー Fiarrow) is a playable Pokémon in Pokémon UNITE. It was available as part of the base game when it released on July 21, 2021

Talonflame is a Speedster with very high mobility through its moves.

Effect: Automatically used for the second time after enough time has passed.

Upgrade: Also throws opposing Pokémon when this move hits.

 Dash Description
Has the user dive to the designated location while cloaked in flame, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon in the area of effect. Also deals recoil damage to the user when it hits. Performing a boosted attack within a set amount of time after this move hits will reset the cooldown for Flame Charge or Aerial Ace.

Effect: The designated location can be quite far from Talonflame, which causes the camera to pan to the location while aiming. While using this move, Talonflame is unstoppable.

Upgrade: Reduces damage received when this move hits.

Has the user perform an aerial somersault before charging forward, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon in this move's path and shoving them.

Unite Move Effect: Shield granted. Movement speed increased for a short time.

Effect: Flame Sweep deals damage up to 2 times. This move does not go through obstacles. While using this move, Talonflame is unstoppable. The area being affected is projected with a fire effect on the ground with an arrow pattern that resembles a runway, though the projection ignores obstacles.

Pokémon UNITE Opening Cinematic

A Talonflame appeared in the "Pokémon UNITE Opening Cinematic", partaking in a Unite Battle on Remoat Stadium on the orange team. They did not evolve past the Fletchling stage during the battle. They were defeated by an opposing Absol, who chased them off the bottom path and into the lower beach area, then attacked.
