Kanto Elite Four (Part 2) (Japanese: カントー四天王　後編 Kanto Elite Four (Part 2)) was a Trainer Files event in Pokémon Masters EX. It was focused on the sync pairs Agatha & Arbok and Lance & Dragonair. It follows from Kanto Elite Four (Part 1).

During this event, players could earn vouchers from battles that could be redeemed in the shop. Obtaining 3,000 vouchers would unlock the story area Indigo Plateau's Fierce Fighters. All battles could be challenged an unlimited number of times except Daily Extreme Battle 1, which could only be challenged once per day. Extra vouchers were automatically exchanged with coins once the event was finished.

First run

This event first ran from May 7 to 21, 2023. In this run, the type of voucher that players could earn was Event Vouchers K. The "Agatha Variety Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting recruiting Agatha & Arbok for the duration of the event, and the "Lance Variety Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Lance & Dragonair starting on May 9, 2023 and lasting until the end of the event.

The player could battle using Agatha & Arbok or Lance & Dragonair to obtain +0.6× bonus vouchers; Lorelei & Cloyster or Bruno & Onix to obtain +0.4× bonus vouchers; and any unlisted sync pairs with the Kanto or Elite Four theme skills to earn +0.2× bonus vouchers.

Second run

The event reran from April 20 to May 4, 2024. In this run, the type of voucher that players could earn was Event Vouchers B. The "Super Spotlight Variety Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Lorelei & Cloyster, Bruno & Onix, Agatha & Arbok, and Lance & Dragonair starting on April 18, 2024 and lasting until the end of the event. Everything else was the same as the previous run.

Plot

In a dark forest, Agatha and her Arbok defeat Ariana's Arbok. Agatha notes her loyalty to Giovanni and hopes that Ariana respects Giovanni as someone she wants to become stronger than rather than just as someone who pampers her. If Ariana always thinks of Giovanni as better than everyone else, she'll never be able to defeat Agatha or those kids from Johto. Ariana declares that she'll show Agatha how terrifying Team Rocket is someday, but Agatha isn't getting her hopes up. Before leaving, Agatha tells Ariana that she'll have to get moving if she seriously wants to become stronger, as other people-like Red, Blue, and Leaf-are going to keep getting stronger, too.

Agatha arrives in the village where Lance, Lorelei, Bruno, and the player have already gathered, and she apologizes for being late. Lance's Dragonair has been playing with a couple of kids, and Lance encourages them to become dragon masters. He then asks Agatha to battle with him against Bruno and Lorelei, so they can train and he can show the kids the power of dragon Pokémon. Lorelei is a little annoyed that Lance is using them for personal gain, but Bruno doesn't mind. Agatha agrees to help, as she wants to make it clear who of them is the strongest.

After the training is over, the player is chatting with the Kanto Elite Four. The player suddenly receives a phone call, informing them of something which shocks them. They report what they learned from the phone call to the others, and Lance says they should go.

Meanwhile, the Team Rocket executives are in the city, gloating about the success of their plan. Their grunts are causing chaos outside the city, so no one can get in their way. However, Ariana is still brooding over her encounter with Agatha. Archer says they need to wrap things up, but Lorelei, Agatha, Lance, and Bruno appear to stop them. Proton wonders why the grunts didn't stop them, and Lance says that the player is dealing with them. The Elite Four send out the Pokémon that they've been training with and prepare to put an end to Team Rocket's plan.
