The Copper Cape is a cape that was given out as a promotion for The Copper Age.

Appearance

The cape's design depicts a variation of the pattern that appears on chiseled copper and the top of copper chests. This pattern has various stages of oxidization, with the top of the cape depicting copper that is not oxidized, and the bottom of the cape depicting fully oxidized copper.

The elytra design uses a similar oxidization gradient, but depicts copper grates instead.

Obtaining

The Copper Cape could be obtained as the final reward of a special three-part community challenge known as "The Copper Cape Quest", which began on September 30, 2025.^[1][2]

Trivia

• The Copper Cape was not available for Java Edition users at the time of its release, with Mojang confirming they were working to fix the issue.^[3] Java Edition users were able to use the cape from October 15.
