Copper

Copper is a metal found in the Overworld that is used to craft copper armor, copper tools, building blocks and other items, as well as to create copper golems. Most blocks made from copper oxidize slowly over time, changing their appearance.
Copper generates naturally as copper ore, which drops raw copper that can be smelted into ingots. Additionally, copper blocks - many of which are fully oxidized - can be found abundantly in trial chambers.

Oxidizing blocks
Blocks made from copper can oxidize over time, gaining a verdigris appearance over four stages:
Unoxidized
Exposed
Weathered
Oxidized
They can be prevented from oxidizing by being waxed with honeycombs, and returned to previous oxidation stages using an axe. Lightning strikes also remove oxidation stages. This brings the number of variants for each block listed below up to eight.
