Zeph

Zeph was a Human cyborg who served as a Section 31 operative in the early 24th century. He was a member of Alpha Team under Alok Sahar, alongside Quasi, Melle, and Fuzz. Zeph experienced mecha dysmorphia, a condition that led him to replace most of his body with cybernetic implants. His mechanical suit incorporated multiple functions, including an energy weapon and a drill bit; Zeph was insistent that the suit was him. He also perceived himself as a sociopath, though he nevertheless thought of his teammates fondly as friends.

In 2324, Alpha Team was dispatched to the Baraam to intercept a suspected bioweapon sale by Dada Noe. Zeph subdued Noe with a single blow, only to witness the weapon being unexpectedly seized by San.

The team proceeded to a Section 31 safe house, where they determined Noe to be his mirror universe counterpart, attempting to sell a Terran superweapon called the Godsend. Unbeknownst to the others, Fuzz was a mole who had disabled the base's antenna array by removing the theta junction. When the opportunity arose, Fuzz hacked Zeph's exoskeleton and forced him to replace the junction so as to send a transmission to San, before destroying it. He then had Zeph leave the base, and killed him with his own suit.

Fuzz planted evidence implicating Lieutenant Rachel Garrett in Zeph's death. Philippa Georgiou eventually saw through his deception and confronted him, whereupon Fuzz remotely activated Zeph's suit and wielded the corpse to aid his escape. Zeph's body was left behind in the base's tunnels. (Star Trek: Section 31)

Zeph was played by Robert Kazinsky.
