Baraam

The Baraam was a space station in operation during the 24th century, serving as a luxury entertainment venue with a nightclub and guest accommodations. The station was constantly surrounded by a large number of small spacecraft and was equipped with warp drive.

Having been transported from the 32nd century to the past by the Guardian of Forever, Philippa Georgiou disposed of the Baraam's previous owner and became its new proprietress, under the alias "Madame Veronique du Franc".

In 2324, the Baraam was positioned just outside Federation space, near Hupyria V. That year, Section 31's Control dispatched Alpha Team to the station to intercept the sale of a suspected bioweapon by Dada Noe. Georgiou identified the team immediately and aided them in subduing Noe, but the weapon was unexpectedly seized by San. It transpired that they were in fact dealing with Noe's mirror universe counterpart; what he had attempted to sell was the Godsend, a Terran weapon of mass destruction created by the order of Georgiou herself.

After the Godsend was neutralized, Alpha Team returned to the Baraam, where they received a new mission to Turkana IV from Control. The station and its attendant ships then warped off to a new location. (Star Trek: Section 31)
