In 2381, this male Human officer answered the hail from Captain Carol Freeman, who was trying to contact her daughter, Ensign Beckett Mariner. Distracted by his colleague attempting to get rid of a Pyrithian bat loose in the station, the officer yelled at her to use a broom to get rid of the bat. Then, after checking a Rolodex, he informed Freeman that Mariner had resigned. Before he could verify to the captain that he was sure, he was accidentally struck by the bat and a swing of the broom, almost immediately after, and knocked out communications. In 2381, this female Human officer attempted to rid the station of a Pyrithian bat which had gotten loose. After being told, repeatedly, by her colleague to hit it with a broom, she replied "I did that; it didn't care!" (LD: "Trusted Sources")

Pilot 1
This male Human pilot arrived on the USS Cerritos to transfer Ensign Beckett Mariner to Starbase 80. Upon arriving in the Cerritos' shuttlebay, he commented on how nice of a ship it was, and how he'd do anything to work there, as it didn't smell like garbage or sweat. He handed Ensign Mariner her Starbase 80 duty uniform, telling her that "one size fits some." (LD: "Trusted Sources")
In 2382, he was attacked by members of the Cerritos crew, including Dr. T'Ana, whose minds were being controlled by an entity known as Clem. (LD: "Starbase 80?!")
Pilot 2
This male Human pilot arrived on the USS Cerritos to transfer Ensign Beckett Mariner to Starbase 80. Due to what he referred to as "elbow grease" on his PADD, he mistakenly referred to her as Ensign "Bucket" Mariner. His sandwich was wrapped inside the duty uniform that his co-pilot handed to Mariner, leading him to exclaim. "My sammich! See? I told you I didn't eat it!" (LD: "Trusted Sources")
