Radiara

Radiara was one of the Orbs, a photonic species from the Veraflex nebula, and the child of Orb leader Spheronius. Though its species were long-standing enemies of the Cubes, it began an illicit romantic relationship with Quadralon, child of Cube leader Sexagus.

In 2382, Radiara accompanied Spheronius to the USS Cerritos for peace talks with the Cubes, whereupon it disappeared to engage in rigorous sex with Quadralon. After trashing Quadralon's quarters, the pair sneaked off to the holodeck, leaving the scene to be discovered by Lieutenant jg Beckett Mariner and Ensign Olly.

With the children of both the Orb and Cube leaders apparently missing, tensions between the species escalated until a shape war erupted on the ship. After the Cerritos stopped the fighting by draining both sides of energy, Radiara and Quadralon reappeared and announced their union to all. They also presented their new hybrid child, SquAaron, who enchanted its grandparents and paved the way to a lasting peace. (LD: "Of Gods and Angles")
