Silvally and Rampardos is a Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket deck archetype that has been played since the release of the Extradimensional Crisis expansion in 2025. The deck's strategy revolves around using Silvally paired with various Supporter cards for 100 points of damage. Paired with Rampardos, this deck deals significant damage consistently.
While Silvally and Rampardos was a strong archetype in Extradimensional Crisis, other decks utilising Silvally would become more popular with the release of next expansions, pairing Silvally with Oricorio or Charizard ex.
Strategy
Due to Type: Null being the only Basic Pokémon in this deck, starting the battle with at least one of those cards in hand is guaranteed. Its 80 HP allows it to surive almost any hit before it can evolve. Paired with Gladion, it can attack for 100 damage with its Brave Buddies attack on the turn it evolves into Silvally. This deck relies heavily on more Supporter cards than other decks, to consistently boost Silvally's attack. Gladion's effect reduces the need for Poké Ball cards in the deck, with only one other Basic Pokémon being possible to draw.
After the Silvally in the Active Spot is knocked out, usually enough turns have passed to get the Skull Fossil on the Bench and evolve it into Rampardos. Its 130 damage attack can Knock-out any remaining opponent's Pokémon. Additionally, the second Silvally can be set up on the Bench and charged with required Energy before Rampardos is Knocked-out.
Weaknesses
Silvally, being a
Colorless type Pokémon, cannot attack any other card with +20 damage Weakness boost. Its 110 HP doesn't allow it to survive heavy hits from Pokémon ex.
This deck has more Supporter cards than most other decks and the player is prone to drawing too many of them and being vulnerable to hand disruptions in the form of Red Card or Mars.
Key cards
- Silvally - Main damage dealer of this deck. It relies on Supporter cards to boost its Brave Buddies attack to deal 100 damage.
- Rampardos - With just one
Energy it can deal 130 damage, effectively Knocking-out most non-
Pokémon. - Gladion - Allows Type: Null to quickly evolve during the first few turns of the battle while providing damage boost to Silvally's attack.
