The SVE Basic Energy cards is a set comprising Basic Energy cards from the Scarlet & Violet Series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, of which there are 8 types in total. Outside of Asia, this set marked the first time that the card name was printed on any Basic Energy card (in the Japanese game, the card names of Basic Energy cards have been printed on the card since the LEGEND Era). This was also the first time that Basic Energy cards were printed as part of an independent set and thus had their own unique set symbol and collection identifier.
Cards in the SVE Basic Energy set numbered 001-008 were introduced with Scarlet & Violet and have a plain design, whereas cards numbered 009-016 were introduced with Stellar Crown and have designs reminiscent of Terastallization crystals. Cards numbered 017-024 were introduced with Black Bolt and White Flare and have designs reminiscent of those from the Black & White Series.
