The Well of Fate is a structure that can be found within Minecraft Legends. It is one of the few structures that can't be removed, like Improvement Hubs.

The Hosts seem to live inside the Well of Fate, as seen in the opening cinematic. Before the events of the game, Foresight wakes up from a frightening dream-like state as she felt the piglin invasion coming, seeing piglins of the Horde of the Hunt rushing outside the portal that appeared out of nowhere. She then tells the other Hosts, Action and Knowledge, to recruit the Hero, who is busy mining diamonds until they see a glow behind them (Foresight talking). There, the Hero rides a horse that enters the Well and both them and the horse get a faint blue glow with stars, a behavior exhibited by all non-Host creatures entering the dimension, as well as that of the Hosts exiting the Well. They are also given three items (the Legendary Lute by Knowledge, the Flames of Creation and a few golems by Foresight, and the Banner of Courage by Action) to begin their adventure. After training, the Hero starts their heroic quest to defeat the piglin bases.
As soon as all the Bosses get defeated by the Hero, an enraged Great Hog decides to emerge to the Overworld in order to destroy the Well of Fate. The Seer uses her magic to power the Great Hog's staff, which its owner uses to destroy a replica of the Well on the map table. Upon arriving to the Overworld, they intentionally destroy the Nether portal from which they emerged, gathering obsidian and portal magic into a powerful staff force. Rushing towards the Well, they laugh evilly as they summon more piglins into the fight. The Well of Fate during the Great Hog's attack gets purple electricity along its pillars, while the block on its top jerks from the magic, but the Well is too powerful to be destroyed, as the defeated Great Hog's staff backfires and recalls all the piglins to the Nether.
Interaction
The Well of Fate allows the hero to obtain new types of allies or increase the number of allies that they can rally up. The Well of Fate also allows fast travelling via the map.[1]
It is also attacked by the Great Hog near the end of the story. It does not affect the fight in any way. It almost gets destroyed after defeating the Great Hog in a cutscene, but the well is too powerful to be destroyed.

Well of Fate |
Automatically unlocked |
"The Well of Fate is the Hero's first respawn and fast travel point and the building site for improvement structures. This ancient spring feeds every village fountain, sustaining life across the overworld." |
THE WELL OF FATE – You will discover many interesting locations across the Overworld, but none as important as the Well of Fate. Nestled among the rolling hills and rocky outcrops of the fatelands, this impressive structure is an icon of unity, and vital to your mission.
THE HOSTS – This location is a shining light that ties the Overworld together and is connected to every corner of the land. Every time you return here, you'll find the Hosts going about their business and you can use your resources to build upgraded structures.
SYMBOL – The Well of Fate is the origin of all life in the Overworld and stands tall as a beacon of unity, renewal, and harmony. Unsurprisingly, it is the piglins' top target. If the Well of Fate falls, the whole of the Overworld will follow.
CONNECTED – The water from the well's spring travels all across the Overworld. It flows from all functioning fountains in every village, so you can fast-travel to any flowing village fountain and any wellhouse you have built.
