Fossil Canyon is an optional sub dungeon within the mission Dingy Jungle. It contains the scroll that unlocks the secret mission Panda Plateau.
Appearance and description
Fossil Canyon is located in the area where the hero crosses several jungle trees in Dingy Jungle. Fossil Canyon itself contains large fossils, small water and lava pools, and an optional ambush on the large fossil in the center. There are three buttons found next to panda statues in this sub dungeon that must be activated to lower three bamboo gates to the south-west. Once the three gates have been lowered, a scroll can be collected that unlocks the Panda Plateau secret mission.
