A trailer was something used for cargo that could be towed by a vehicle.

In 1996, it was incorrectly assumed that H. Dunbar was moving the timeship Aeon to another location in a trailer pulled by a semi-truck, but it turned out to be a ruse. (VOY: "Future's End, Part II")

The song "Let's Get Away from It All" included the line "Let's take a trip in a trailer". (TNG: "Manhunt")

In 2399, Raffaela Musiker lived in a mobile home, which was a type of trailer. It was located in Vasquez Rocks. (PIC: "Maps and Legends")
