Los Angeles in Southland

The Southland was a subregion in Southern California. It was used as a term to describe the urban areas of five counties, including Los Angeles County.

In an article about wildfires in the January 21, 2024, issue of the Los Angeles Times, the writers wrote that the "new normal" of an unprecedented number of wildfires had become a fact of life for millions of Southland residents. (PIC: "Watcher")

This subregion was only mentioned in writing.
The other counties, not mentioned in canon yet, were the Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, and Ventura counties. [1]
An alternative name for the Southland was the Greater Los Angeles Area.
