Rubicun star system

The Rubicun system was an inhabited planetary system that was located in the Alpha or Beta Quadrant.

This system, and the nearby Strnad solar system, were located in the same star cluster. This star cluster contained 3,006 planets that were suitable for colonization. This cluster was claimed by the Edo God, a powerful group of trans-dimensional beings worshiped by the Edo, the humanoid inhabitants of Rubicun III.

In this system, there were at least three planets, including Rubicun III. This planet was in the system's habitable zone.

History

In 2364, the USS Enterprise-D became the first Federation starship to contact the inhabitants of this system. Captain Jean-Luc Picard was requesting shore leave rights for his crew on the planet. (TNG: "Justice")
