Joe Morton (born 18 October 1947; age 77) is an American actor who narrated the audiobooks of several Pocket DS9 and Star Trek: New Frontier novels.

Morton is perhaps best known for his role as Miles Dyson in Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991, starring Linda Hamilton, with Earl Boen, Jenette Goldstein, Nikki Cox, Castulo Guerra, Terrence Evans and Abdul Salaam El Razzac).

TV career

One of his earliest TV appearances was a 1970 episode of Mission: Impossible, starring Leonard Nimoy, with John S. Ragin and Dick Dial. Several years later he was a regular on Feeling Good (1974-75).

In 1993, he had a lead role in Equal Justice. Also in 1993, he co-starred in TriBeCa; Hans Tobeason worked as writer and producer on the series, with guests Richard Kiley, Victoria Dillard, Caroline Kava and Caroline Lagerfelt. Morton later had another lead role in Mercy Point (1998-99, co-starring Maria del Mar, Jordan Lund and Brian McNamara). His other television credits include The X-Files (2000, starring Gillian Anderson, with J. Patrick McCormack and Jack Shearer), Smallville (2001-02, with Bill Mondy), House (2005, starring Jennifer Morrison), JAG (2005, starring Zoe McLellan, with David Andrews), Numbers (2007, with Christopher Lloyd and Wil Wheaton), Boston Legal (2008, starring William Shatner and John Larroquette, with Henry Gibson, Aaron Lustig and Ken Edling) and Warehouse 13 (2009, starring Saul Rubinek).

Morton later had recurring roles in Scandal (2013-18, with Gregg Henry), and God Friended Me (2013-20).
