Fire suppression
Fire suppression was a range of firefighting methods for suppressing fire/wildfire. This found application in fire suppression systems often found aboard spaceships and space stations.
Walkerite 342 was a gaseous explosive with a use in fire suppression applications. (TNG: "Night Terrors")
