Castaic was a city in Los Angeles County. It was located about twenty-five miles from Downtown Los Angeles.

In 2024, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention facility was located there. After Cristóbal Rios and Teresa Ramirez were arrested by ICE officers, they were sent there for processing. After proving her citizenship, Ramirez arranged for an Uber driver to pick her up at the facility and drive her back to Los Angeles. As for Rios, he was given a seat on ICE transfer bus number 735, which was heading to a Sanctuary District located near the border with Mexico. (PIC: "Watcher")
