Bubble bath

Commander Data bubble bath

A bottle of Commander Data bubble bath formula

Bubble bath was a liquid that was poured in bath water to make bubbles.

By 2381, bubble bath bottles in the likenesses of Data and Lore were sold. Data's was a limited edition. They were used to hide contraband Klingon disruptors. Brad Boimler threw up some. (LD: "An Embarrassment Of Dooplers")

The term could also refer to a bath taken with this substance. In 2382, an alternate version of Curzon Dax who served aboard the Anaximander compared the multiverse to a bubble bath, with each bubble representing each reality. William Boimler continued the metaphor, explaining, "The ship we're chasing is ripping open the bubbles." (LD: "Fissure Quest")

In 3190, Adira Tal had plans to sleep, have tea, and a bubble bath once the excitement was over. (DIS: "Kobayashi Maru")
