Skin lotion was a creamy substance used to improve the texture and hydration of one's skin.

One type of skin lotion was epidellic lotion. In 2370, hearing a departing Kira Nerys and Jadzia Dax discuss the epidellic lotion Dax was returning to her, Odo questioned how they could discuss skin lotion (something seemingly trivial) at that moment. (DS9: "The Circle")
