This card was released in the Mega Evolution Series as a Cosmos Holofoil MEP Black Star Promo available in the Mega Evolution Three-Pack Blisters from September 26, 2025. In Japan, this card was released in the Scarlet & Violet Series as one of seven SV-P Promotional cards available in Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack 10, which was distributed at Pokémon Card Gym venues able to do so from April 18, 2025.^[1] This card features the Pokémon Card Gym logo.
