Pokétopia (Japanese: ポケトピア Pokétopia) is a Pokémon battle island theme park. It along with the surrounding environment is the setting of Pokémon Battle Revolution.
Besides having all the normal features of a city, such as streets, skyscrapers and a pier, Pokétopia is also home to several battle arenas known as Colosseums. Each Colosseum hosts different types of battles. As such, it is highly similar to a Battle Frontier albeit much larger.
The design of the futuristic, technologically advanced city is related to LaRousse City.
Reception
The receptionist Anna serves and supports the player throughout the game, handing out rewards and gifts every time they clear a challenge as well as explaining various battle strategies.
Colosseums
There are a total of eleven Colosseums in Pokétopia—six led by a Colosseum Leader, four led by a Colosseum Master, and one additional Colosseum for DS and Wi-Fi Battles.
Players progress through each Colosseum which are unlocked in order and can continue playing to take on additional challenges after the initial game. The Colosseum Leader or Masters always face the player at the end of each series of battles. The Colosseum Leaders' Pokémon outfits can be unlocked for Custom Pass Trainers when completing their Finals in the "Level 50 All" rule. Occasionally, they can wear Shiny outfts, which are only obtainable if the standard-colors is not already acquired.
Two Level Rules are available for battles. The Lv. 30 Open rule features all opponent Pokémon matching the highest level Pokémon on the player's team, and at minimum will be level 30. The Lv. 50 All rule makes all the competing Pokémon Level 50. The Colosseum Masters offer the additional battle challenges at their respective Colosseums post-game.
Each time a battle is completed, players are rewarded stuff such as Poké Coupons, new gear and outfits for their Trainers, Battle Pass designs and titles as well as Mystery Gifts that can be bought and ported to DS games. Often, some rewards unlocked will be related to the theme of the Colosseum cleared, particularly the Battle Pass designs.
