Release information

HeartGold & SoulSilver Series

This card was included in the HeartGold & SoulSilver expansion with artwork by Noriko Hotta, first released in the Japanese SoulSilver Collection.

Sun & Moon Series

Pokégear 3.0 was reclassified as an Item card during the Sun & Moon Series. It was included as both a Regular card and a Full Art Secret card in the Unbroken Bonds expansion, first released in the Japanese Night Unison subset. Both prints feature artwork by Studio Bora Inc. A new print with different artwork once again by Studio Bora Inc. was released as a Yellow A Alternate card and was awarded to participants of League Cups held during the Unified Minds Season (August-October 2019). A gold foil stamped "Staff" version was also given to those overseeing the events. This print originated from the Japanese Miracle Twin expansion. In Japan, the Unbroken Bonds Regular print was included in both of the TAG TEAM GX Starter Sets and in the Tag All Stars subset. Another new print with artwork by OOYAMA was also released as part of the Tag All Stars subset.

Sword & Shield Series

Pokégear 3.0 was reprinted again during the Sword & Shield Series as part of the Sword & Shield expansion, first released in each of the Japanese V Starter Sets. This print has new artwork by Ryo Ueda. In Japan, the Sword & Shield print was reprinted in the Sword & Shield Premium Trainer Box, in the Charizard & Grimmsnarl VMAX Starter Sets, in the Colorless Eevee V Deck, in the Venusaur & Blastoise VMAX Starter Sets, in a second version of the Charizard VMAX Starter Set from the VMAX Battle Triple Starter Set, in the Zacian & Zamazenta vs Eternatus Special Deck Set, and in the Darkrai VSTAR Starter Set. The Tag All Stars print with OOYAMA's artwork was released outside Asia as another Yellow A Alternate art card and was available in the Trainer's Toolkit from June 26, 2020. Holofoil prints of the Sword & Shield print were included in both of the Japanese High-Class Decks.

Scarlet & Violet Series

This card was reprinted again during the Scarlet & Violet Series with new artwork by Toyste Beach. Its initial print of this Series was in the Scarlet & Violet expansion, with its first Japanese iterations appearing in the ex Starter Sets and the Premium Trainer Box ex. In Japan, it was subsequently reprinted in the ex Start Decks, the Terastal Starter Sets, and the Stellar Tera Type Starter Sets. It was also reprinted as an SV-P Promotional card and was one of eight cards that could be found in 2025 Endorsed Independent Event Trainers Packs. Certified Event Organizers distributed these packs at events they oversaw starting March 1, 2025.[1] This print features the Event Organizer logo.

It was later reprinted in the Black Bolt expansion, first released in the Japanese expansion with the same name, with a new regulation mark of "I" instead of the "G" regulation mark seen on the original Scarlet & Violet print.
